About Us

The foundation for A Pets’ Idea began in childhood. Growing up, our owner, Moira, spent countless weekends at the library reading about cats and dogs, visiting the local animal shelter with her grandfather to socialize rescue animals, and designing pet enclosures inspired by Zoo Tycoon and Animal Planet.

The true turning point came when Moira was seven years old and her family boarded their dog, Brutus. Seeing him in a loud, stressful kennel facility sparked a big dream: to create a true pet paradise, a low-stress hotel featuring spacious private rooms, outdoor runs, indoor and outdoor turf play areas, a quiet cat sanctuary, a spa, and even a fun shopping area where pets and owners could explore together!

In 2016, at age 18, Moira entered the pet industry to turn that childhood dream into reality. Over the next decade, she dedicated herself to mastering every single role in the field, working hands-on in retail operations, grooming, daycare coordination, facility logistics, and animal management to understand every angle of exceptional pet care.

In 2020, Moira channeled years of hands-on experience into a comprehensive business plan and custom building design. Today, A Pets’ Idea is the realization of that lifelong mission: a safe, clean, and compassionate facility built around respect for animals, dedicated team support, and peace of mind for pet parents.
